Fallllllllling

When we left for Kentucky, the leaves were all in full gold and red glory. Upon our return though, it was quickly falling into a much more grey and soft wasteland. With snow. And then mud. Ugh mud is so not a horse persons friend. Oh well, that's why they have an amazing indoor arena!
I had some awesome lessons which were for sure the highlight to this week. I can't and never will get over the addiction to learning and figuring out new riding breakthroughs that afterword seem so obvious! Love it.
I also practiced long lining using the Achenbach rein handling technique and holy smokes!! That is the way to keep a solid and even connection for SURE.
Then the highlights of this weekend were pretty incredible! One of my best friends ever came to visit for the weekend and goodness golly did we make the most of every minute he was here. Pretty sure I have slept about 8 hours in the last 48. Scouting out good rocks, scouting out new butterynut squash soup recipes, and scouting out the dark depths of Lava are always good things to do. Cannot wait to see him again, yahoo!
